biases

what biases would the author think technology has?
Keen seems biased against all public means of expression, such as blogs and twitter, because they are not credible. On the other hand, he is biased towards research databases that can be found online, or other websites that have reliable facts.  He has biases against lots of information vs credible information.  He believes the credible information is the most important, and the blogs containing a lot of information may be made up.

What trade-offs does the author identify concerning technology?
A tradeoff that Keen sees about technology is that we can use it to bring web 2.0 back into the hands of experts. At the end of the book, he concludes with a few ways we can accomplish this through different means such as journalism. Another trade-off that Keen sees is that when researching, how do you know the information you want to use is true or just another amateur blogging about what they think they know.
