Purpose of the book
The purpose of this book is to show how the internet is killing our culture, as well as how our culture is killing the credibility of the internet.
Ideas that the author continually touches on?
The information on the internet is not accurate because it is being edited daily by people who could very well have no background knowledge of any content. Wikipedia and YouTube users are anonymous, which allows for false information to be posted.
What ideas were new to you?
I had never thought of the idea of overlapping information. Someone may post something they found and thought it was true, and it can be misconstrued so many ways and it could have even been a false statement from the beginning and no one would know, especially with all the anonymous users on the internet.
